This is the village's football team coach he used to play regularly but now as the years have caught up with him he only plays occasionally and is also a linesman for some games. Once he won the player of the year award and the big joke at the time was how much it cost him in drinks to get the award. He still gets ribbed about it even after all these years but takes it all in fun. He likes a drink and sometimes has a kebab when he leaves the pub. You can see him walking home a bit dazed looking and weaving from side to side with grease dribbling down his chin while he's munching on it but he doesn't seem to mind people chuckling at him, after all Blu is one of the local celebreties and everyone respects him for the good job he has done with the team
This is the new vicar his name is Rev Jerusalem Hellfire (he likes to be called Jerry)
This is the local tomboy. Sharon is her name. No dolls or dressing up for her she can rough and tumble as good as any boy. She loves football and is in the local team. Not a game goes by that she hasn't scored at least one goal and if she doesn't score it will not please her one bit. She hopes to play for Arsenal one day and is honeing her skills at every opportunity. Her favourite player is somebody called Fiberglass and she wants to be as good as him
The local handyman came to do some repairs and what a jolly fellow he is always joking and doesn't seem to have a care in the world. He takes all obstacles in his stride, nothing seems to get him down. He works very hard and all the villagers sing his praises. He can turn his hand to all kinds of things, from clearing drains to building extensions. The only thing he will not attempt is anything to do with electricity as he had a shocking experience years ago but thats another story. His name is Toby
This is Tobys wife Candy not only does she work hard in the school office she also has to take care of his business affairs like making appointments sending invoices and cooking the books she rarely gets time to relax. She realy gets annoyed with people who are late in paying their bills and wont accept any excuses and when people threaten her by saying they wont use Tobys services again she Just replys "am i bothered" and they know they can,t do without him so they pay up
This fellow is a travelling musician who said he is willing to stay and help out on the Dairy until winter. "Don't mind what jobs i do as long as i get to play my trumpet on my time off" he said. I have heard him play and he really is good. He plays "Blues", or so he says, It's a new kind of music to me and makes a change from all that Morris stuff they play in these parts, jumping up and down waveing hankies around  I said to him the other day You really know how to blow a tune on that thing, to which he replied "I dont blow I suck" which surprised me I must say.
It seems even the bees want to live here. This is one of the hives that have suddenly appeared so i guess spring is in the air. Buzz said he would keep me supplied with honey throughout the coming season. I'm not a honey lover but the wife is so i said thank you very much. I'm also thinking that Ted might be able to make use of some of it for his cheesemaking so a word in his ear might give him some ideas. I'll have to warn Buzz about Butchie as he's fond of honey as well. But i'm pretty sure there will be enough for everyone
Kenny really gets annoyed he keeps throwing this funny shaped stick and no matter how hard he tries it keeps coming back to him. "I dont understand it I guess i must be magnetised". We all have to watch out when he throws it because it really travels fast and many times we all have had to duck to stop it hitting us on the head. I remember Apari telling me about a "boomerang" and i think thats what this is. I'll leave it for a couple of days then put Kenny out of his misery. At least it keeps him out of trouble
Percy arrived today with tales of mistreatment. It seems that some humans will go to no ends just to make money. "I had to leave my wife and kids behind because I really couldn't stay another day. Now i've found you all I'm off to fetch my family". I've heard that the big cats are going with him just to make sure all goes well and to make sure they get back safely. If i was bigger i'd go myself. Hey I think i will cos i can get into places others cant so i might be useful after all.
Update
As you can see all went well for Percy and his family are now settled in and happy as can be
